Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)
Although a requirement under federal law, UAFS members are committee to the goals of CRA because they care about the community where they live and do business.
UAFS staff and leadership review on a regular basis projects and proposals that benefit our community but at the same time satisfy regulatory criteria. The association is proud to be a participant in many of the successful CRA programs in Utah.
UAFS Charitable Foundation
In order to maximize their contributions, and diminish the burdens on non-profit organizaations, UAFS leaders developed the Utah Financial Services Foundation. The purpose of this organization is to review grant proposals from all qualified charitable and community organizations requesting assistance from UAFS members. The Foundation assists non-profit applicants to ensure that any financial award satisfies FDIC criteria.
